Glitterville's Handmade Halloween: A Glittered Guide for Whimsical Crafting!

This past summer I had the pleasure of Skyping with Stephen Brown all about his judging adventures on Craft Wars. I've interviewed many, many celebs and personalities in my day and his Q&A goes down as one of the best! Crafts! Drama! Glitter! He spilled juicy details while still being tactful and funny, he also shared great business tips. It's no wonder he is such a success story, very well-deserved!

The cherry on the whole experience for me was that he sent me a signed copy of his new fabulous glittery book!

Glitterville's Handmade Halloween: A Glittered Guide for Whimsical Crafting! by Stephen Brown ($19.99, Andrews McMeel Publishing, 208 pages, softcover) is a must-have for all devoted Halloween DIYers. I'd describe his style as the crafty lovechild of Tim Burton and Betsey Johnson. Eerie. Happy. And freakishly fun. What I loved about this book, aside from the original projects, is that Stephen shares all the details of how to make a polished project that looks ready for retail.  Whether you're into gift giving, toy making or just want a killer centerpiece for your party, you'll find what you need. And even if you have no desire to lift a glue gun, this page turner is great to grace your coffeetable - just to get in the festive spirit!
