This is according to Leo from NP Set. First you need to add a touch of concealer on your lips to lighten any red or pink pigment in your natural lip tone. Then apply the nude lip color. Another tip I learned for this look - make sure to give yourself a heavy eye, something a little bold and smoky on your lids to help balance the look.
Sure, I was a little freaked out at first, I'm so not used to nude lips! But I got used to it and plan to try this every so often. It's just make up, right? Your face is a canvas for experimenting and having fun! I'm glad I tried something different! And it was a nice full-circle moment after losing my lipstick and just about having a meltdown at the craft convention last year!
