Hair splurge (giveaway too!) ! #ETYY #LLBLOG

Truth is, I splurge on craft and art supplies more than I do on hair care, lotion, all that girly girl stuff. So when I heard that Johnson & Johnson was looking for bloggers to review their products for the Entre Tu y Yo campaign , I was game! I thought it would be a great way to try out beauty products I wouldn't normally purchase.



I've never been one to mega-splurge on gourmet beauty items. Well, I do have my Sephora benders, who doesn't? But when it comes to hair care products, my fancy shellacking days are a thing of the past. They shouldn't be because I have a hecka lotta hair that needs major TLC (click on the tab up there to see all my hair horror stories).

Now that I look at all the goodies - I know they'll come in handy in my craft studio. One thing I hate about painting and glazing is that my hands get dry from washing them all the time. Lotion will definitely come in handy for that! And what about Band-Aids? Not that I want to get cut, but if I do, I'll have these ready for action...

I'll be sharing the results here once a month through October, along with a giveaway each time so you can try these items too! That's what I love about blogging, it's a great way to meet new people and stretch outside of your comfort zone. I'm excited!

First up, Aveeno Nourish + Strengthen Conditioner and Nourish + Moisturize Shampoo.

I've used these once so far and loved the magic they work on my curly locks. Both formulas are super rich and thick and for the first time, I noticed my hair came out extra shiny. I get into art mode and spend some much time in the studio, that I never pay much attention to my hair, but I think now, seeing it look so nice for once, I want to try and stay on top of conditioning and styling it. As far as this shampoo and conditioner set, I know if I want to use them again, I'll have to hide them from Miss Maya! She always hordes the good stuff and then I'm back to the cheap stuff, not this time!
