    1. I agree with the clip art..I made retractable badge holders with a day of the dead image. Used crafty chica glue to adhere the paper image to the circle retractable part, put resin overlay all over circle to ensure it doesn't come up and the glossy effect.

Wow. What a lovely video. Sweet song.
I adore all things FRIDA. Any clothing tutorial would be brilliant - shirts, aprons, skirts, scarves, bags.
Also, I'd love ideas for a DIY Mexican inspired garden makeover for my rental property.

^the clip art request for sure,
I've made some Day of the Dead Badge holders for work. I used old badge holders the kind that pull out of the circle and clip to your belt or shirt etc. I used a quarter to trace a small skull image. I used crafty chica glue to glue it down then used resin as an over lay on the image and cover the whole circle so the paper image doesn't come off.

  41. Hi Kathy,

I just read about you in "Where Women Create." Your story of perseverance and staying true to your need to create was inspirational!

I also checked out your Etsy site, and added you to my circle. I am 42 and finally comitting myself to the many creative pursuits that have always rolled around in my head and taken a back burner to what I thought was real life.

Please enter me in your Crafty Chica Cruise Swag Bag drawing. I sew, paint, draw, stamp, it all looks so wonderful! I checked out the you tube video and plan to subscribe to your feed, regularly give love to a few sponsors and will check out others, and since i just found your website, I don't know what has already been done but some crafty re-use of fabric would be cool, since I do that for my purses. Is that 3 entries?
