DIY Floating Butterfly Earrings

I was inspired recently by Margot Potter's easter ball earrings and decided to try the method with feather butterflies!

Supplies:
Feather butterlies
1" of chain
6 jump rings
2 earring hooks
Needle nose pliers
Glue

Directions:

Glue a jump ring to the top back of each butterfly. NOTE: Some butterlies will have a clip attached, just remove it). Open one end of the chain and loop into the jump ring and onto the butterfly. Add a jump ring at the top of the chain and add the earring hook. Use the needle nose pliers to make sure to bend the hoop smoothly and close it nice and tight.

That's it! You can adjust the length of the chain according to your liking. From far away it looks like the butterflies are dancing above your shoulders!

Go be shiny,
Kathy :-)
