CHUBBY GIRL DELIGHT: Candy Cane Framed Cookies

 They're candy canes! They're cookies! They're both!

This is a funky concoction I came up with - it's looks weird, but it is really two treats in one. you can break off the cookie from the heart or eat it as one - your choice...



Supplies:

Mini-candy canes
Cookie sheet
Parchment paper
Cookie dough (sugar or chocolate is best)
Cookie sheet, oven mitt

Directions:

Place on cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper, bake for 3 minutes at 300F degrees.

Pinch off cookie dough in small gumball sized balls, bake according to package directions.

Set the oven to 300F degrees. Line the cookie sheet with parchment paper. Remove the wrappers from the candy canes. Place the candy canes on the cookie sheet in heart shapes. Bake for THREE minutes. Remove from oven, pinch the ends together to solidify the joints, let cool. Place on top of the WARM cookies, let cool. Enjoy!
