My week at Art Unraveled 2011

 This is from the Shoe Shrine workshop I taught. These are some of my students!



 Remember these sneakers I painted for a charity auction? The lady who bid on them wore them to AU and came to my class to show all us! She jumped up on the table and danced a bit...so cool!!


 Cookies are always a needed asset in shrines.




 These are half of the shrines!

 On the second night, there was a book event and I was a featured author. This lady brought a copy of my book to sign! She was so sweet!

 Here I am with the amazing Ruth Rae! My cleavage kept showing BIG TIME, so she helped me cover it up. Now that is what I call a true friend!


 This a group shot of projects my students made in my soft sculpture sugar skull class.
 Aside from the conference, I had time to buy a car for DeAngelo and Maya to share. We all combined our savings to buy a car for college.

    I love the shoe shrines, my favorite is the one in the middle of the group picture of shrines.I so wish you would be in my area someday - I would love to get my books signed and take a class with you - you are so amazing!
