| Maya wearing Tulip Body Art |
I'll post a project soon, but in the meantime, here is an "official" project!
My tips: Before you apply the paint to the skin, apply it to your hand first to get the consistency just right. It has to be matte, not super wet otherwise it will spread under the stencil. Practice on your arm first until you get the hang of it. I like that the brushes are angled because it makes it easy to make flowers and stars. Use alcohol pads to remove the paint from skin.
Materials List
- Tulip® Body Art™ Kits
Festival -
Miscellaneous
- Water container
- Water
- Soap
Instructions
- Clean area of skin to be painted. Do not apply lotion.
- Dip paintbrush in water. Apply wet brush to surface of Pink Pearl paint then create outline of butterfly on skin.
- Fill in wings with Light Green Pearl then add dotted accents around wings with Sky Blue.
- Outline wings with Sky Blue then add different colored dots in other places around wings.
- Brush on body and antennae then create flowers in front of body with Lavender and Sky Blue for petals, and Gold Metallic in the centers. Add different colored dots around flowers for accents.
Felicidades,
Kathy :-)
