Make a Pin Cushion Ring

I'm an avid sewer, and when I'm in the the thick of it, sometimes my loyal pincushion is nowhere to be found. That's why I'm impressed with this clever trick that Laura from My Little Nook came up with.
So handy - literally!

From Laura:
"...what I really needed, was a finger pin cushion. I wanted one for a pretty long time, but I didn't like those that you make out of the bottle cap. So, I made my own variation, which I really like."

  1. That is incredibly cute. With my luck I'd keep missing and poking myself in the finger. ;)

  2. She did a great job.

I make something similar, using a bottle cap and elastic cord as a base and we use them all the time... and by "we" I mean my three boys. They're super-handy to use in the car when hand sewing.
