Kathy, I love this! Such a great idea. But it reminds me of a "happy accident" project I started but have yet to finish. I emailed you a while back about a clutch style purse that I made out of of a tissue box. It had a geat pattern that gave the clutch a faux leather look. My problenm is how to seal the clutch to keep it from getting damaged without loosing the soft, pliable quality of the tissue box. I thought of Modge Podge first, but am not sure what kind of results this will have. Any suggestions? I am in dire need of your crafty wisdom, as I am but a novice! Thanks for your help. ; )

ReplyDeleteNeat-o Frito! Looks like tooled leather or a tattooed clutch. What a great idea for a yard sale or thrift store find.

ReplyDeleteHi Lana! I use glossy spray sealer, Aleene's brand. It should work, i'd test it on a sample patch first! Let me know how it goes!
