KODAK March Photo Craft Contest!

I'm very excited to announce that I was invited to be the celebrity judge for Kodak's new contest! Here are the details:

Share your love for crafting with us!
Maybe crafting is a way of life for you or maybe all this chatter around the National Craft Month is intriguing you. Either way now’s as good a time as any to bring out those scissors and craft up that photograph.

As you let your imagination run wild share your photo craftiness with us to win fabulous Kodak prizes. Let your creativity pave the way. We’re pretty easy - our only requirement is that you use scissors and a photograph. Cards, photo books, scrapbook layouts, table settings, gifts, decor... DIY your way to win one of three prizes:

Grand Prize: KODAK ESP 7250 All-in-One Printer ($179.95) and a KODAK PLAYTOUCH Video Camera ($199.95)

Second Prize: KODAK ESP 7250 All-in-One Printer ($199.95)

Third Prize: KODAK ESP C310 All-in-One Printer ($99.95)

Contest Starts:  March 1, 2011, 9:00 am EST
Contest Ends:   March 31, 2011, 11:59 pm EST

How to Enter
Submit a Photo Craft Project at the Tips, Projects and Exchange area on the Kodak site. All submissions must be original creations, include a photograph and have been snipped lovingly with a pair of shears (or blade or knife... you get the picture). The more creative and original you are the higher your chances of winning. Brownie points will be awarded if you share with us your creative process and a few tips.

            1. Visit the Tips & Projects Exchange
            2. Submit your layout under “Photo Projects”
                         - Navigate to ‘Photo Projects’
                         - Select ‘Create’, then follow the step-by-step directions
                          - (You will have to register you’re not already a member)
            3. Tag your entries “Contest” to be entered into the contest.

Submissions posted after 11:59:59 pm ET on March 31, 2011 will not be eligible.

  1. My sister would have been interested in this but unfortunately, we're in the UK. She did enter a competition with a
photobook she made once, can't remember if she got anywhere though. My only role in that was writing a few bits of prose and a couple of captions. My sister's the crafty one in the family, not me. I can cause an accident just by looking at hot glue....

There are some wonderful ideas out there though. The best I've ever managed is hanging photographs of places I've been from a map of the world. And that's looking a bit tatty now.
