I have done a mini version of this! Several years ago, I had some unpainted wooden candle sticks that I slow "dribbled" paint on. They turned out like that! It also reminds me of those massive candles that we used to make in the 70's. You melted candle over candle over candle until they were as big as a bar stool. (if you were successful). It was an on going project from everything from new candles, melted scraps of other candles and birthday candles too! Took months! Was a fad.
