In my new novel, Miss Scarlet’s School of Patternless Sewing Daisy de la Flora Clutch Bags by Kathy Cano Murillo, one of the characters is a mysterious and flamboyant accessories designer from the 1960s named Daisy de la Flora. Her are the instructions for this fabulous Daisy de la Flora style purse!  As seen on Cool2Craft TV with Tiffany Windsor.

Kathy says about character Daisy de la Flora:
“Think of her as a cross between Carmen Miranda-meets-purse designer Enid Collins. Lots of gaudy gems, crystals, trims on purses, bags, shoes and hats! I always knew that when the book came out, I would share a Daisy de la Flora project! So here it is!”
Materials:
1 clutch
Tulip Soft Paints
Paint brushes
Tulip 3D Fashion Paint
Assorted gems, crystals, plastic metallic stickers and colored pebbles

Murillo   Wipe down the purse with a damp cloth. Use chalk to sketch your general design on the front of the purse. Paint the areas, these will serve as the background to the embellishments.

Murillo Add plastic metallic stickers, use dots of 3D paint to seal them down, add a small crystal inside each dot. Use 3D paint to glue down other accents. I like to use a glittery 3D shade because it adds more dimension to the purse. Let dry!
