Beatles Shirt - Holiday version

This is kind of a silly project, but it was fun to make. The idea is to take a band tee and add holiday hats to the members. Definitely a conversation starter! You can find band tees at Target or Walmart for about $10.

Materials List

  • Aleene's® Fabric Fusion® Permanent Dry Cleanable Fabric Adhesive

  • Tulip® Fashion Form™

  • Tulip® Fabric Paintbrushes™

  • Tulip® 3D Fashion Paint™

    65000 White
    65130 True Red
  • Miscellaneous

    •   Scissors
    •   Band T-shirt with band member faces (can be found at discount department stores, music stores or thr
    •   Foil
    •   Patterned fabric – red, green, white and yellow
    •   Small pompoms – red

    Instructions

    1. Wash and dry shirt to remove sizing. Insert Fashion Form into shirt and smooth out.
    2. Cut one hat design from each piece of fabric. Arrange them on the heads of the band members until you find a look you like.
    3. Squeeze a puddle of Fabric Fusion onto a piece of foil. Use Fabric Paintbrushes to apply an even coat of glue to the back of each fabric hat. Press onto shirt and smooth out any wrinkles with your fingers.
    4. Use desired colors of 3D Fashion Paint to decorate the edges of the fabric hats. Let dry.
    5. Apply a drop of Fabric Fusion to the pompoms and add one to the tip of each hat as shown. Let dry.
    6. Remove Fashion Form.

Peace, love, and glitter!
