Arte de Casitas

These are little shrine boxes (actually, they started as doll houses) that I turned into mini-altars. I made these several years back and still am addicted to making more of them! I like to make a whole bunch and then give them away to people who visit my house and stop to admire them. Like a little takeaway gift!

Peace, love, and glitter!
Kathy :-)

P.S. Check out my new book and product line!

  3. I've actually been wanting to learn to make these casitas for a while now. I have some stuff to use for them all saved up. Now I just have to learn how to make them.

  5. Brilliant and beautiful and inspiring! I have always thought of shrines in terms of tin - love the wood version. Yours are especially beautiful.
