Last summer at CHA, my good friend Rebecca Peck introduced me to the team at The Upholstery Studio. They had me decorate a footstool for an hour in their booth, here is what it looked like (I'm at the 2:15 mark):

I started with black marker, filled in with color and then Tulip Shimmer paints and Beads in a Bottle.
They were so nice to me, they sent me a white denim storage ottoman for my art room. You can order one as well and cover with your own fabric or have them make it for you. I didn't know what to do with my new treat, it was just too fantastic!
I kept it simple - I used one tube of my tried and true Tulip 3D Black Slick Paint and just...doodled! You can lightly sketch with a pencil first or just dive in, that's what I did.
You can do this with any smooth fabric surface. You don't always have to go for the cray-cray, you know? Sometimes simple is cool. Yes, people for me - this is my version of simple...
Go be shiny,
Kathy :-)
