I'm excited to particpate in the new Sizzix Blog Hop that is going on. There is a long list of professional craft designers who are involved (LIST), which makes it very intimidating! I decided to take it easy, and just let myself have fun!
Our first project was to decorate this cute 3D cardboard house. It was designed by artist Eillen Hull. (#65279;Sizzix Scoreboards Pro Die - House, 3D)
I've been on deadline for a top secret mega project and didn't have a lot of time to embellish, so I went old school - and doodled! Using one of my Crafty Chica® Tango Permanent Fabric Markers™ and Aleene’s® Super Thick Tacky Glue™ to hold it all together, I ended up with a cute little project that I can add to later.
It just goes to show that you don't always need super fancy supplies - if you feel creative, pickup a pen and doodle your heart out, write out your favorites words or designs and have fun with sizes, trims, dots and more.
As soon as I have more time, I plan to go back in and add some color and glitter to my new casita!
Don't forget to check out the other bloggers on the Blog Hop! Here is the link!
Peace, love, and glitter!
Kathy :-)

ReplyDeleteI actually like it black and white as is. Maybe a heavy satin glaze? Looks like a big iced vanilla cookie, that I want to break off a piece and have with a cup of coffee.
