Two movies. One day.

My day of working hard took a little detour. An 8 hour detour!

Maya and I went to see The Time Traveler's Wife. I haven't read the book but decided to go anyway. Maya liked it, but it just didn't sit well with me. This review sums it up for me. I think I would have liked the book better.

After the movie, we went for lunch and then decided to see another film, something more upbeat. We went for Julie and Julia. I LOVED IT! The passion for creating, the blog, the writing of books, juggling a family, etc, I really connected with it. It made me laugh and cry. I adored the Paris setting, as well as Queens. The outfits were art pieces, same for the food! Brilliant!

We came home and now I'm toiling away on this book proposal. sometimes it just feels good to play hookie!

Peace, love, and glitter!
Kathy :-)

P.S. Check out my new book and product line!
