Sometimes after you paint a canvas, you want to take it with you, and not just hang it on a wall. That's what happened here. I made a simple heart canvas using my Crafty Chica paints, Crafty Chica Markers, and Crafty Chica Glitters and decided to make it more functional.My original idea was to decorate two canvases, line the backs with paper, make pages, and then use hinges to connect it all into a chunky art book - but I couldn't find any hinges.
I did the next best thing. I took the blank book from a Crafty Chica Collage Journal, painted it, and then glued the canvas on top. Next, I trimmed it out in sequins!
I do plan to carry out my first idea, this served as a nice warm up!
