I know her season is almost over, but I couldn't let it end without one last plea.
Here's a little video I made for her. I hope you get to see it, Ellen!

Adorable Kathy! How can Ellen say no to that?
ReplyDeleteYou're beautiful Kathy! I love this plea production. Ellen never looked better (ok, maybe on her wedding day) but still, girl you made her look all purthy (that's how my aunt Sally used to say pretty). Great job! Ay que purthy!
ReplyDeleteI tried to leave a comment on You Tube, but not sure that it worked. Um ya - this is amazingly adorable. Ellen if you are there reading this, Kathy is the best guest on a TV show you could hope for and I know. You will be in a good mood for days afterwards.
ReplyDeleteGREAT!!! you're so awesome!! I hope Ellen hears and watches this! I LOVE GLITTER!!!
ReplyDeletevery cool :)
ReplyDeleteI love this Kathy too funny LOL Great job!
ReplyDeleteGO GLITTER!
I've posted your plea and the video on my blog. This was great Kathy!
ReplyDeleteAs a lover of glitter myself, I just HAD to post this on my blog today!
ReplyDeleteThe resin covered one is amazing...and I agree with everyone else....This is the super-cutest video ever.
ReplyDeleteNow that she's marrying Portia, and being educated about safe glittering practices, maybe she'll take more kindly to it. Besides, it's gonna' be hard to avoid on all those wedding cards! "Why Cant We Be Friends?" - brilliant, homegirl!
ReplyDeleteGot it on my blog!
ReplyDeleteFight the good fight!
Okay, Crafty Chica... you are ADORABLE!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy!
ReplyDeleteI'm a 50 crafty chica too! I looooove Ellen and never ever miss her show. I know, for sure, that you are going to be in the next season (if she hasn't booked you yet). She has invited crafters before and viewers always send their craft to her, like Ellen portraits, etc., you did such a wonderful plea with the "glitter" issue that Ellen will have you to talk more about it and to make some crafts too, why not? So, I definitely will see you there!!!
God bless u...and keep on crafting!!!
Tu amiga, Dayce ;>

Kathy: I can't believe you hated calabacitas when you were a kid! That's one of my favorite dishes that my mamá used to make and I just bought the ingredients to make it for my daughter a couple of days ago. I'm going to launch a big protest outside your house. I made a sign that says "Calabacitas Has A Posse!"
ReplyDeletei love you. ur awesome and funny and oh so crafty!

Kathy your charm sparkles more than the glitter your advocating for! I do hope Ellen gets a chance to see your plea! I can't wait to see the Crafty Chica products on my local craftstore shelves... Us glitter loving chicas gotta stick together!
ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteThank you fellow Glitter Goddess for being pro glitter! This video was in one word a masterpiece..and genius too! I was laughing so hard at some parts..this was so good and very informative but fun! Your awesome personality, wit, and glitter 411 comes across so strongly here. Bravo! I think you need you to be on Martha Stewart Show,Rachel Ray,Jay Leno,David Letterman,Today Show, Good Morning America and of course Ellen's show demonstrating your crafts..I have never been into crafts(not since I was a kid) and when I came across your site my passion in them has ignited again! You have your own flare and style that sets you apart along with the crafts you design and come up with!
Thank you!!! Happy New Year to you!!!
ReplyDeletethank you for one of the funniest videos I've ever seen, I hope ellen answers it someday. I loved all your ideas! the cards were very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHi Kathy,

Just watched the video for Ellen...very good. Did she ever respond?
I am also a glitter freak...anything that sparkles! Bling Bling!
Happy sparkly day!
Camille
Great to see all the Glitter alternatives! You do such FABULOUS work, I'm also inspired by the glitter yarn swirls you did for Ellen's shirt. Keep it shiny!
